VantageScore

VantageScore is a credit score model created by the three major bureaus as an alternative to FICO, also on a 300 to 850 scale. Many free credit apps and monitoring tools show a VantageScore because it is freely available. Lenders more often pull a FICO score, so your free VantageScore may differ from what a lender sees.
